Ryukousangyo Co., Ltd. was established in Kagoshima in 2018, which marked the 150th anniversary of the Meiji Restoration. We are a specialized trading company dealing in Japanese natural leather made of high quality Wagyu raw hides from Southern Kyushu.
We put our heart and soul into the raw hides of natural materials and preserve them by our own method. We sell high quality natural leather developed jointly by the best raw hides and domestic tanners' advanced technology to manufacturers.
Our company handles raw hides, which are the by-products of Wagyu raised for meat in the Southern Kyushu area. We check the condition of the raw hides every day to preserve them, and we know that all the cattle have been carefully raised. We are grateful for the blessings of nature and the producers, and we pursue quality control so that we can contribute to manufacturing in Japan.
In addition, our partner companies, domestic tanneries, have also been making efforts to manufacture purely domestic natural leather that makes the best use of the characteristics of domestic Wagyu, because they share our idea of handling raw hides and the quality of our products. We will continue to work with our partner companies to meet the demands of our customers' manufacturers.

Domestic production from raw hides processing to leather manufacturing
We are particular about domestic Wagyu hides and all the natural leather we handle are purely domestic. The high quality raw hides of natural leather allow us to be flexible in adapting to various products. We believe that it is important for us to respond to our customers' requests sincerely.
Our commitment to natural materials
In order to contribute to stable supply and productivity, which are indispensable for manufacturers, we are particular about raw hides. The raw hides of Wagyu from Southern Kyushu, which are superior in flesh and fine in texture, are secured as one of the highest quality raw hides in Japan by our own preservation process, which we have researched and developed in accordance with the climate. We use carefully selected materials to provide you with the most suitable natural leather that meets your needs and functions.
Flexible planning and development for a wider range of applications
In order to produce high value-added leather, it is essential to have superior raw hides and skilled tanners. We have a proven track record of success in responding to the demands of manufacturers in many different fields. By utilizing the knowledge of our experienced tanners, we are able to continue our research and development in order to meet the needs of our customers.
Environmental Initiatives
Our head office and factory are based in Shibushi City, a city with a high level of environmental awareness. In order to protect our rich natural environment, we use only materials that can be returned to nature in our work processes as an in-house standard. In addition, we have signed an agreement with Otsuka Wellness Bending Co., Ltd. to install emergency vending machines at our headquarters factory, which also serve as a storage warehouse in the event of a disaster. In the future, we are planning to introduce an electricity storage system as a local disaster prevention base in cooperation with Kagoshima Prefecture and Shibushi City.
